I’m a documentary director with a focus on the science and craft of storytelling, a pursuit I see as both timeless and ever evolving. I hold a degree in Narrative Studies from Middlebury College and a certificate in documentary audio storytelling from the Salt Institute. Alongside directing, I also often DP films, and in certain projects I’ve carried both roles.
My background includes years as a 1st Assistant Camera on adventurous and innovative documentary and commercial productions with teams like Stept Studios, Camp4, and Override Films for clients including National Geographic, Arc’teryx, Ford, and more.
I also run the production company Brown Barn Studios with Henry Allison, where we create compelling visual stories for impact organizations.
I’m currently making my feature debut as co-producer and DP on the upcoming Noah Kahan documentary.
